I’ve created an interactive roadmap with all the tips and guides you’ll need to go from a beginner to an expert in crypto data. This is not meant to be completed all at once, you should work your way through the levels and only come back to the next step when you feel like you’re ready.

Each section has multiple levels of modules (L1, L2, and L3). Each module has a “you should be able to…” that suggests what you should be capable of doing.

Sections:

• Intro to Crypto: if you know nothing, then these links will be helpful for getting up to speed.

• Blockchains: the basics of blockchains come down to transaction structure, common standards, and ecosystem coverage.

• Exploration Tools: without learning how to spot trends and explore addresses and transactions, you won’t be able to go much deeper.

• Querying Tools: diving deeper than surface level trends requires writing queries.

  • Technical Languages: you can use SQL, Python, or Javacript. You don’t need to learn them all at once.

  • Navigating Protocols: the more protocols you dive into, the easier this gets. Learn to build up from functions to feeds to labels and metrics.

• Building in Public: the steps to follow if you want to get hired full time in the space.

• Knowledge Domains: seven of the key domains you’ll become familiar with the longer you spend time in crypto.
